• Build the base the right way — we typically remove 8–10" of native soil to establish subgrade, install 6–8" of compacted road base, then add 30-year commercial weed barrier and ¾" micro-chip gravel for drainage and long-term performance.

• Control drainage for longevity — once the surface is compacted, we shape grade and manage water movement so pavers, walls, and transitions don’t shift, settle, or fail over time.

• Precision in layout + installation — whether it’s pavers, retaining walls, steps, or boulder work, we plan patterns, elevations, and tie-ins with the landscape so everything fits clean and functions correctly.

• Protect what’s already there — hardscape work is loud and messy, so we take care to protect existing concrete, siding, irrigation, plants, and finished areas throughout the build.

• Finish the details up close — the difference is in the final touches: tight cuts, clean edges, consistent joints, proper filler material, and installs that are level, plumb, and visually sharp from every angle.
